Sometimes as a gluten free gal, you need some fried gluten free options. I go here often for my hamburger and fried pickle fix - gluten free of course!
The burger was really good. The lettuce was fresh and crisp and the bun was grilled. The combination of the crunchy lettuce and crispiness of the bun worked well with the juiciness of the burger. I'd go back. The service was good. The dining area was pleasant and bright with a wall of windows to bring in the natural light.
Not sure why this place only has 3 stars! If we're hungry for a good burger we stop by Hat Creek! They have healthier options like turkey burgers and chicken sandwiches and then they have some really great cheese burgers. They have a good variety of sides which have all been tasty, especially the onion rings, yummm! Service is quick and friendly and they have outside seating for nice days with a playground for the kids. My kids favorite is the shakes they have!
We read the reviews, and looked at the pics but couldn't verify if they had indoor seating. They do, and it's nice. They have $1 hot dogs all summer long! Nice fat sausage on a toasted bun, condiments are by the cokes... can't miss! You should add one! The loaded tots were okay, nice and crispy, lots of cheese and bacon! They do have a vegan menu! We got the pretzel jack, which was average. Nothing special about the "pretzel bun" and it was soft. The patties were soft. The cheese was soft. The burger was soft. We also go the chicken sandwich which was the big winner! Crispy chicken, toasted bun, pickles and mayo. Simple, and they nailed it! Can't go wrong here either! We ordered the fried pickles which were beige, no color on the fry. We also ordered fries, which we paid for and didn't get... but didn't realize until we were already gone. 4 Stars
